Rain Impromptu n.1

“Boy, it began to rain like a bastard. In buckets, I swear to God. All the parents and mothers and everybody went over and stood right under the roof of the carrousel, so they wouldn’t get soaked to the skin or anything, but I stuck around on the bench for quite a while. I got pretty soaking wet, especially my neck and my pants. My hunting hat really gave me quite a lot of protection, in a way; but I got soaked anyway. I didn’t care, though. I felt so damn happy all of sudden, the way old Phoebe kept going around and around. I was damn near bawling, I felt so damn happy, if you want to know the truth. I don’t know why. It was just that she looked so damn nice, the way she kept going around and around, in her blue coat and all. God, I wish you could’ve been there.” Catcher in the rye, Salinger

Geminids

You know, I wrote this song for my parrot.

Sometimes I think of his days, how fast is time for him, and yet it slowly drips. Sometimes he suggests me some musical motif, and I wanted to stop our time, in a dimension where we will always watch life fly away, whistling together.

Deep

"As soon as we put something into words, we devalue it in a strange way. We think we have plunged into the depths of the abyss, and when we return to the surface the drop of water on our pale fingertips no longer resembles the sea from which it comes. We delude ourselves that we have discovered a wonderful treasure trove, and when we return to the light of day we find that we have brought back only false stones and shards of glass; and yet the treasure goes on glimmering in the dark, unaltered."

Trough the night

The world danced around the awake, sleepless spirit in front of a mirror of awareness.

And the whole sky was raining continuously in the eyes, the night beyond this enchanted sphere breathed deeply, with leaves, streams and mountain winds.

Sleeping light

"Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,

To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,

Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,

Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,

And so live ever or else swoon to death."

John Keats

And if we dare we get connected

Open these soul cages, fill my blank pages."

Shores of the cosmic ocean (A Teaser)

“The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. On this shore, we’ve learned most of what we know. Recently, we’ve waded a little way out, maybe ankle-deep, and the water seems inviting. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return, and we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We’re made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.” Carl Sagan, Cosmos
